Wet scrubbers are effective at controlling pollutants in exhaust gases that are soluble in water, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid, and ammonia. They are widely used in industries including semiconductor manufacturing, electronics/electroplating, printed circuit board (PCB) production, chemical manufacturing, and laboratory fume hoods, among others. Placing smaller scrubbers indoors can save on construction costs and efficiently purify acidic and alkaline gases.
